Potter at The Clay School
Room 316
This is my 6th year participating in the Lydia Pinkham Open Studios. I have recently been working at the studio full-time and honing my style with intention. My work is exclusively wheel-thrown in red stoneware, carved and /or altered. I use brightly-colored glazes for rich movement or mosaic-like surface. I like my pieces to reflect a feeling for other worlds beyond everyday life. Pieces with stands or feet to create a floating feel, mandala-like carvings, whimsical flowers, gold rims and knobs are designed to bring a little magic and color to everyday ritual.
