For over 23 years Bobbie has worked as a professional portrait artist, capturing genuine heart-felt expressions in subjects of all ages through the mediums of photography and mixed media painting.

As her personal and professional work has evolved, Bobbie discovered a new found creativity in pushing the boundaries of what was once a digitally-captured image into the realm of fine art. Her tools now include both the modern and the traditional, combining hand-applied electronic brushwork with topical layers of oil paints and embellishments, applied by brush and palette knife.

Bobbie creates deeply personal works of art, by combining photography and painting together a very unique way, to create custom hand-painted mixed media portraits of individuals, children, pets.

This is her first year participating in the Lydia Pinkham Open Studios, as the newest artist tenant in the building, moving into unit 112 in early December 2019.
